The Opportunity

Dan is an award-winning Art Director and NYC photographer who has relocated back to Florida and is now accepting bookings for student athlete portraits—both for individuals and entire teams. He has shot actors, celebrities, Emmy®-winners, NYC models, Broadway dancers and The Radio City Rockettes.

From a sports standpoint, he has shot for the New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA) and the Westchester Knicks (NBA G-League), designed marketing collateral for those teams and—while the Senior Art Director at Madison Square Garden—designed the current logos for both Madison Square Garden in New York (home of the New York Knicks and New York Liberty) and The Forum in California (former home of the Los Angeles Lakers).

How It Works: INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES

Each athlete will be shot in the studio or on-location on the scheduled shoot day. For the multi-athlete discount, athletes just need to be scheduled for the same day and same location. In some cases, the shoot can be broken up over consecutive days to accommodate schedules.

There will be several shots taken in different poses related to the sport (i.e. standing, dribbling, shooting, throwing, swinging, diving, etc.) and the raw shots will be immediately viewable on screen for making selects as well as in an online gallery for reviewing after the shoot.

One of the other things your child will get out of this is the fun and unique experience of doing a real studio photoshoot. This is not the same thing as what they do every year for their individual and team pictures for the yearbook—it’s a totally different vibe, very fun, and is amazing for team bonding.

How It Works: FULL TEAM

All members of the team will be shot individually in the studio or on-location on the scheduled shoot day. Athletes that will appear together in the final group/team shot do not need to be scheduled to shoot at the same time—they just need to be scheduled for the same day. In some cases, the shoot can be broken up over consecutive days to accommodate schedules.

Price

To discount the price per athlete as compared to doing an individual shoot for only one athlete, scheduling a shoot with other athletes or a team shoot allows for spreading the cost out and making it very inexpensive. For teams consisting of 10 athletes or more, this works out to only $80 per player.

Each athlete will receive:

One retouched high resolution file (JPG) of the individual shot of your athlete that you have selected.

For full teams or groups of athletes booking their shoot together and wanting an additional composite group photo (i.e. full team, seniors, siblings, starters, friends), each athlete will also receive:

One retouched high resolution file (JPG) of the individual shot of your athlete that is selected for use in the team photo.
One retouched high resolution file (JPG) of the composite group or team photo.

Additional composite images that may be used for promoting the team at school and/or on social media with custom typographic additions (i.e. “Game Tonight” or “Senior Night”) are also available for purchase.

For families who are interested in more individual shots of their student athlete, you can pay an additional $50 to receive one additional finished/retouched shot of your choice out of the other poses (posed or action shots), an additional $90 to receive a total of two additional finished/retouched individual shots, or an additional $120 to receive a total of three additional finished/retouched individual shots. Additional finished/retouched shots beyond that are $40 per shot.

Payment

There is a 50% deposit required to book a session and hold your date and time slot, this is non-refundable and goes towards the total. The remaining balance is due at least 24 hrs before your session. We currently accept payment through Zelle, PayPal, Venmo or Cash App.

IN-STUDIO

FLORIDA STUDIO

LAKELAND, FL
For those in the Lakeland area, you have the option to shoot in our dedicated studio that is connected to a house in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of South Lakeland near the Southgate Shopping Plaza. It’s about a 10 min drive from I-4 and a 6 min drive from the Polk Parkway/FL-570.

The studio includes a sound system, A/C and heat, WiFi and an area for reviewing images on an external monitor as we go.

Just off the studio is a bathroom and also another room with couches for teammates or anyone else who comes with you.

On-Location

Besides the option to shoot in the studio, we can bring our equipment to your school or other location and setup in order to shoot in a related environment: stadium, playing field, gym, court, track, pool, locker room, etc.
