About Dan
Sometimes I like to make a fool of myself on the other side of the camera: MODELING
Originally from the Sunshine State, Dan is an artist who mainly works in the Central Florida and NYC areas but is available to travel anywhere for a shoot. He’s had a thing for photography for a while and developed an eye for light and composition while working as an award-winning designer and art director for over twenty years. As much as he loves the technical side of photography and lighting, he also loves art and laughter and appreciates how photography allows him to both create visual art as well as meet, connect, and laugh with all kinds of interesting people.
As a photographer, he has shot actors, celebrities, Emmy-winners, NYC models, Broadway performers, and has shot for the New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA), the Westchester Knicks (NBA G-League), and the New York Rangers (NHL). Additionally, his work ranges from being part of advertising campaigns for Madison Square Garden and the Radio City Rockettes to headshots, lifestyle shoots, still life, products, maternity, weddings, and portraits.
He finds music terribly inspiring and wishes he could sing like Donny Hathaway (he can't) or play the bass like 'Thunder Thumbs' of The Brothers Johnson (he can't). He also hates it when people say they "can't." He digs improv and standup comedy, can’t decide if he wants to marry cream soda or ginger beer, and is a recovered basketball addict who allows relapses during particularly good games or the playoffs.
Finally, he thinks it’s ridiculous that he wrote this whole thing in the third person. I mean, who does that? The End. Or is it?
